The Teen Community Action Team (Teen CAT)
is a group of high school students in Novato, California who take action in their community to prevent dating violence, sexual assault and other forms of violence in their community. They have made a video about teens helping teens prevent abuse (abuse - No Way!). They also carry out outreach and awareness activities, and have organized protests of against violence against women, youth and children in their community (including local incidents of rape, child abuse and hate crimes). You can contact the Teen CAT in the weekly Chat Room they host at the InSite (www.theinsite.org) every Wednesday afternoon 4:00- 5:00. The all-volunteer Teen CAT is facilitated by Transforming Communities in Novato
