This Growth Chart, one of the most popular TC products, is an excellent tool for raising awareness about the violent socialization of boys. The Growth Chart shows a graphic representation of stereotypical male conditioning which is juxtaposed with images of growing boys from six years old to eighteen years old, from diverse ethnicities. Examples of the "messages" of male conditioning that boys receive, as shown on the poster include: "Make the decisions", "Take charge", "Be the provider", "Win at all costs", etc.

The "messages" are lined up along the three boys bodies as they stand along the chart which presumably measures their height but actually reveals their stage of socialization. Growing boys are pushed into a narrow and culturally defined role of manhood, centered on being the authority, tough, in control.

Also featured is a call to action at the foot of the poster that reads: MEN'S VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IS LEARNED. IT CAN BE UNLEARNED. Awareness + Community Action = Change. Get Involved.
