abuse -No Way! is a great video for teens by teens. This film is appropriate for many different audiences including classroom presentations, training teen activists, community youth groups, and women survivors of domestic violence seeking ways to talk to their teenage children about dating violence.

Scenes in this film depict verbal, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, as well as depicting the potential for friends to intervene and challenge violence. This film juxtaposes these scenes of relationship abuse with actual footage of teen activism in Novato, California. Through music, posters, peer education programs and demonstrations, the teens speak out against rape, child molestation and relationship violence.

The 43-page study guide includes classroom exercises for three sessions on relationship violence, handouts, statistics, and additional resources, as well as the story of how abuse - No Way! was made by TC's Teen Community Action Team. The process of making this film was highly transformational for the teens involved, their families and their peers at the high school. We hope this transformation extends to you and your community as you challenge violence toward women and girls.
