Together Against Violence Kit
"You deserve a relationship based on mutual love and respect."

"The causes of family violence are many, and one response may not always hold the answers for all situations."

Easily reproducible, black and white camera-ready artwork with accompanying text for flyers, brochures, bookmarks, calendars, safety cards, stickers and newsletters are featured in this family violence prevention kit produced by the Virginia Statewide Public Awareness Campaign Against Violence. Updated annually for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, the kit includes materials related to multiple forms of domestic violence, including child abuse, elder abuse, partner abuse, dating violence and sexual assault. The kit is created by a coalition of non-profit and public sector service organizations in Virginia, with the Family and Children's Trust fund acting as lead agency for the coalition. Although referral resources and hotline numbers listed in these materials are for support services located within the state of Virginia, agencies from other states can easily adapt the clipart, slogans, print formats and action ideas for their own community projects simply by inserting listings of local resources. All artwork, materials, and suggestions for activities in this kit are copyright free and can be reproduced and adapted without further permission from members of the Statewide Public Awareness Campaign.

Recommended for domestic violence, public health, and social service organizations looking for ideas and artwork for creating domestic violence awareness and resource materials for their own local communities.
