Maternal and Child Health Journal: Special Issue on Violence and Reproductive Health (Volume 4, Number 2, June 2000)
Research articles reporting on relationships between women's reproductive health and their experience of abuse and violence are featured in this special edition of the MCH journal. Among the topics explored in one or more studies are relationships between women's experience of abuse and pregnancy, HIV status, risky behaviors among youth, and physician screening practices. Introductory and concluding articles provide an overview of the current state of research on women's reproductive health and their experience of violence, in addition to recommendations for future research, public policy and prevention efforts.
