Review the lastest issue of the Catalyst Connections, an online tool featuring articles, activity worksheets, and related resources to help advocates strengthen our gender analysis to support our prevention work in our communities.
The Catalyst is a prevention resource developed by TC-TAT to advance critical thinking and reflection about current issues and trends in the violence against women prevention movement.
This online publication is for prevention advocates who are seeking strategies and inspiration to strengthen their community engagement work. We invite your ideas for creative ways that we can continue to deepen these conversations.
In 2012, Transforming Communities: Technical Assistance, Training and Resource Center (TC-TAT) launched a national training and technical assistance pilot project: Grow Forward: Building Lasting Organizational Capacity for Organizations Ending Violence Against Women. A dedicated cohort of 23 OVW grantee organizations comprised of teams of advocates and leaders from across the country were selected to develop long-term, sustainable, organizational and leadership capacity-building strategies following an immersion institute that was held July 2013.
This publication provides an overview of the implementation efforts carried out by the organizations that participated in TC-TAT's one-day PAR workshop and follow-on technical assistance facilitated by Alisa Del Tufo, Founder of Threshold Collaborative in November 2013.
TC-TAT has had the opportunity to partner with indidivuals and organizations throughout California to bring you new and updated resources on working with specific communities and settings in domestic violence and teen dating violence.
As a result of these partnerships, TC-TAT has created its series, Learning from Our Communities.
