About Us
Operated by Center for Domestic Peace in San Rafael, California, TC-TAT works to strengthen the collective efforts of advocates, organizations, policy makers and funders to build a strong social movement and sustainable, community-driven initiatives.
Our Vision:
Social norms that promote safety, justice, and equality for all.
Our Mission:
TC-TAT provides constituent-driven training, support and peer learning opportunities for advocates and communities to transform and prevent violence against women and promote safety, justice and equality.
Our Approach:
TC-TAT uses a holistic approach that integrates theory and practice to advance prevention on local, state, and national levels. TC-TAT relies on the “real life” experience of advocates and communities, including experience operating local prevention programs, to inform our strategies. As a national training and resource center since 1997, TC-TAT works with practitioners from diverse community contexts and at all levels of organizational readiness to engage in prevention activities.
